Vicki Robinson
Vicki has been the Manager of the Insurance Services Division for the City of Las Vegas for 14 years. She has responsibility for group health, wellness, workers’ compensation, safety/liability and ADA/FMLA compliance.
Her previous positions include Workers’ Compensation Administrator for Corning, Inc., and Workers’ Compensation and Risk Manager for Reynolds Electrical & Engineering Co., Inc., a Department of Energy contractor at the Nevada Test Site.
Vicki has an MBA from Syracuse University and additional certification in Industrial Labor Relations from Cornell University. She received her Senior Professional in Human Resources designation in 1996, and Associate in Risk Management – Public Entities in 2009. She has served on the State Board of the Nevada Self-Insured Association, and is aPast President of the Nevada Chapter of the Public Risk Management Association.
In March of 2004, the City of Las Vegas implemented a consumer driven health program plan – the first city in the United States to do so. In 2006 they added Wellness Coaches USA to their program to provide on-site, one-on-one health coaching and counseling for their employees. Today, 80% of the city’s employees participate in the CDH program, and the city’s health care costs have remained virtually flat for the last six years.
