Missy Jarrott

Missy Jarrott is the Director of Human Resources for Chatham Steel Corporation. She has over 24 years of experience in training and development, quality improvement, management leadership, benefits management and human resources management. As a graduate of the College for Advanced Management of Health Benefits, Missy knows the growing challenge of providing high quality health benefits and managing rising benefit costs for Chatham Steel. She designed and implemented an employee and dependent wellness program, called Steel Fit, that has been nationally recognized and modeled by many employers. In 2006, Missy received the President’s Award for her hard work and commitment in finding solutions to help improve the health and well-being for all company employees and their families. In addition, she serves on the Executive Board of the Savannah Business Coalition on Healthcare Cost Management and is the Coalition’s Wellness Liaison representing twenty-two major employers in the Savannah area. She is also a member of the City of Savannah’s Get Healthy 2012 focus initiative and serves on the Board of the National Corporate Health and Wellness Association. The Savannah Economic Development Authority and The Creative Coast Alliance rewarded Chatham Steel with the 2009 Innovation Award of the Year for it’s Steel Fit Wellness Program.
