Kristi West*

Kristi has over 11 years of experience in the human resources field in the areas of benefits, employee relations, compensation, recruitment and organizational development. She is currently the Senior Manager of Benefits for the Irvine Company where she is responsible for managing 4 distinct benefit programs in the hospitality and real estate development industries for over 3,000 employees.  Most recently, she led a corporatewide effort to streamline the Company’s leave of absence program.  This effort not only allowed the Company to save over $50,000 annually but enhanced the internal leave of absence administration processes.

Prior to joining the Irvine Company in 2007, Kristi lived in Boston and worked for leading organizations in healthcare, real estate development and information technology.

Kristi has served on the Human Resources Certification Institute’s California passing point exam panel which evaluates exams for the California Human Resources Certification. She is actively involved with SHRM and PIHRA and is taking courses towards her CEBS (Certified Employee Benefits Specialist) designation.

Kristi attended Old Dominion University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. She earned a Master of Science in Human Resources Management from Troy State University
