Self Funding Leadership Award

The Self Funding Employers Association (SFEA) in conjunction with the Self Funding Magazine (SFM), recognizes a select group of individuals each year whose achievements have enhanced and brought innovation to the Self Funding industry.  These individuals have helped launch the industry forward in a positive direction and raised the bar in our call to action for a business imperative to establish and sustain a meaningful culture of health in the workplace. The Self Funding Leadership Award will be presented to these individuals as part of the SFEA and SFM Annual Meeting held October 26-28th, 2011 in Chicago.

This award recognizes a leader in the Self Funding industry for providing an exemplary program or innovation consistent with the vision of the Self Funding Employe Association’s goals;to create a coalition of self funded and self insured employers. With a focus on transparency in pricing for self funded plans including administrative fees, prescription drug fees (PBM fees), implementation and enrollment of Self Funding in the workplace. The award also honors an individual whose professional accomplishments embody such qualities that drives the Self Funding  industry forward.

Self Funding Magazine Feature:  If recipient of the Self Funding  Leadership Award agrees they will be featured in the Self Funding Magazine as a leader and the SFM will provide an interview of the recipient in the featured piece in the magazine.

Eligibility:  Nominees should be in the  human resource department or an executive officer at an employer that has an existing Self Funding Plan in place or who is launching a Self Funding Plan. The award must be accepted by the person receiving it at the conference.
